If... (as Jed and a well known nursery rhyme says) Life is but a dream
And... Everything in a dream is not real
Then... Life is not real

That means: every thing in life is not real, including "the world" and "you" and "me" and whatever we do to each other or ourselves or the environment or whatever. "Accepting what is", to me, simply means that you accept that it is all a dream, an illusion, and it therefore does not matter enough to upset you. This does not mean you don't react to it, or take action against it (you can do that if you choose so, or you choose not to, and both choices are cool — that is also what is). It only means that, whatever the outcome of your reaction or actions, or the lack of it, you accept it for what it is. You do not get angry, because it's not really real. This, to me, is all "accepting what is" means: you do not take things personally and it cannot effect your inner peace.

But what if I DO get angry? That cool or naw? This is a serious question.

Who determined that we should accept everything except for not accepting everything?

This is an example of how a "spiritual ego"  is still just an ego. Not trying to offend. In Jed terminology it's just further or back there depending on where you're at. Like try less. Imo

Good question. But since we're discussing this topic in the spirit of Jed, let me ask you this: How often does Jed get angry in his books? He disagrees, yes, and he lets his disagreement be known, yes, but he does not lose himself in anger. Ego loses itself and gets angry.

Nobody determined that we should accept of not accept anything, it's what occurs and appears to be so when you free yourself from ego's reign. Or, as jed puts it, you wake up.

A friend who writes a lot better than I do, reads the Kave, summarized what you are all saying as follows, does it basically encapsulate what you are all getting at?

The same force that automatically digests our food and beats our hearts, runs our entire lives, with zero input from us. And because it’s the same for everyone, no one is responsible for anything, nor is there any such thing as cause and effect. Whatever compelled people to get the vax, compelled you and I not to get it. End of story. Except we keep the story going by spending years “bitching” about it and trying to find and assign fault and blame. Apparently we should have just accepted it and moved on without another thought. We have no agency over anything except to accept what is.

**J)’s response does include for agency.

That reminds me of the saying that "God is in everyone" kinda showing us exactly  who we are and who we aren't in a way, fom a certain angle I could agree

Thanks J) for your response, it’s now clear. Life in new times roman is such an unnatural environment, one would have to be a robot to not have any anxiety. Focusing on what kind of life we do want, is productive, despite us not always having a “how to”, just keep moving, and if source comes along with a helping hand, even better. I agree  “accepting what is” boring, undefined and goes nowhere real fast, I regret bringing it up. Defining “reality” might be in the same category, as it would mean something different to each of us (human interpretation). You know that old eg of two people witnessing the same car accident and both see it completely different. Which is the reality? If either?

Also find "accepting what is" kinda boring... It is already done. I see people jumping up and down about what is as a waste of energy. I tend to focus on creating what will be instead or at least try. It does take some effort to focus in that regard. Its like the opposite of victimhood, ownership. And I try to keep an open relationship with source/God/ what is to stay in touch with some humility and maybe on occasion just ask for help...

J)  I could spin my own interpretation of where you were coming from but just wanted to hear it from you re: statements 1, 2, 3.

1.   F*ck you and what you think. God bless.
2.   Not hard accepting what is. It's done for you. Now what?
3.   Can't accept anything if you can't look at it honestly
4.   Agree:  that Walt glossed over how peaceful the animals are within the first few moments of the vid * Humans  poisoning their environment, well who knows how that’s going to affect their natural nature
5.   I resonated with these: I'm not perfect but at least I'm real. That's a start. And I'm trying. I just pray to understand God's Will / what is a lot. I do not pretend to understand. I do think it's important to have good honest relationships with people in your life and that it's important to have people around who care about and will listen and talk to you open and honestly and vice versa.

Nice! Yes, first things first,. I am at work and would like to take a second to respond before I start coming up with something that sounds good!

I have a ton of anxiety that I deal with in different ways. Ive explain before how I mainly focus on the breath to bring me into the present and do a lot of exercises in that regard. This evening I was dabbling with a beer or two. Either way I way somewhat emotional and basically got pissed upon realizing that Steve was just in here trying to criticize me rather than respond to what I said. So that was 1.

2. And 3 are my thoughts on reality as it is and human part in creating reality but no one ever really talks about that here. That's fine I'm pretty clear on it. Just think if you don't look honestly at reality then your living in delusion. How do you feel about the topic? I asked Mic if he viewed human interpretation of reality as a problem. What do you think? I think reality is what it is but we aren't stuck there and have a ton of agency in which to change our current reality within certain parameters.

I think a lack of clarity is a problem with human interpretation. And so I do thank you for asking Crystal. I was just talking to my girlfriend at work and it's amazing how much it actually helps to just share with other people.

"j( just fine going down in the dark" whatever that means...
